This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
I was skeptical about this newest Harry Potter story, and after an all-at-once reading session, I can say that it wasn't horrible—it was OK. Even though Harry, Hermione, Ginny, and Ron are unrecognizable as adults, the magic is still with the children. I enjoyed the time-turner story, and the cameos by old friends. The best part of it for me were the astonishing stage directions and set descriptions—how will they pull this off? When can I see it?
