This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Catch #52!
John Sandford's "Rules of Prey" checked in today, about five weeks after being released. New member TSOBarry has embraced the BookCrossing mission by reading and releasing his first find: "Found book on top of gas pump at Convenience store. After reading book, left it on tram that transports people to and from Landside terminal and Airside terminal at Pittsburgh International Airport." Thanks for joining and journalling, TSOBarry, and for helping this book along on its journey!

When I got home from Nephew No. 1's party, there was another journal alert for this book. An AnonymousFinder found it on the tram at the Pittsburgh International Airport and, according to the journal entry, plans to read it. Congrats on the quick catch, TSOBarry!
