This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Release #1002
The trouble with some of my friends—and me, I admit—is that being on time for things is just not that vital. I don't really mind, mostly because I hope that gives me some allowance when I'm at fault (which I am, far too often). Today, I was meeting a friend at Bob Evans Restaurant in Irwin, and I didn't mind that she was a little time-challenged because that gave me the opportunity to leave "The Berenstain Bears and the Trouble with Friends," by Stan & Jan Berenstain, on a bench outside the front door.
