Mom, Sister No. 6, and I met a faboulous ex-co-worker and her two girls at Slacker's Backyard Café in Level Green, Pa., for a breakfast that benefited a couple of local food banks. Their food is delicious and plentiful, and the company was fantastic. On our way out, I left "So You Want to Be a Wizard," by Diane Duane, on a ledge outside the front door. This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.
