Luckily for me, I am never up early enough in the morning to indulge myself at the bakery in Panera Bread. Instead, I spend dozens of lunch hours there, when the lure of creamy tomato soup is greater than that of a chocolate pastry. Today, I left "Baker's Fatal Dozen," by Lisa Harris, in the suggestion card rack between the front doors. Bon appetit!
