This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Releases #419 & #420
Happy Columbus Day to all! I celebrated having the day off work by visiting Twin Lakes in Greensburg and leaving "Bambi: A Read-Aloud Storybook" on the wishing well in the parking lot on the upper lake. Then, on my way home from spending far too long in a car dealership, I left Michael Ondaatje's "The English Patient" on top of a gas pump at the Sheetz in Irwin.
