This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Release #704
Mom, Sister No. 3, Niece No. 2 and I went to see "Into the Woods" at the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts in Pittsburgh this afternoon. It is one of Niece No. 2's favorite musicals, and though I had never seen it before, I knew that the wolf from Little Red Riding Hood had a part in it. Armed with this information, I chose to bring Jack London's "White Fang" with me to release. I left it on a bench at the very tippy top landing of the theater before the show started, and it was gone at intermission. Enjoy!
