This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Release #840
It seemed like it had been awhile since I released a book at Eat 'n Park in Greensburg, so I did so today. I left "Encyclopedia Brown and the Case of the Midnight Visitor," by Donald J. Sobol, in the tourist information rack inside the front doors on my way in. It was gone (and the rack had been refilled with tourist information pamphlets) by the time I left.
