This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Release #916
It's been getting worse and worse, so today I finally decided to do something about it. The interior of my car was filthy! Remnants of winter's salt and spring's seed and leaf coverings were all over the floor, not to mention the ever-present dust and cat hair all over the seats, so I headed to DeGennaro's Car Wash on Route 119 in South Greensburg to use their giant vacuums. Twelve minutes and eight quarters later, my car was thanking me. After I put the vacuum hose back in its place, I left Stephen J. Cannell's "King Con" behind to keep it company.
