This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Release #964
I'm on vacation this week (more of a "staycation," unfortunately) so I had the luxury of meeting a friend for lunch and not having to worry about getting back to work on time. We met at Szechuan Garden on East Pittsburgh Street—home of Greensburg's best Chinese food. While I was waiting for her to arrive, I left "The Advocate," by Larry Axelrood, inside the apartment rental guide box on the sidewalk outside Vocelli Pizza.
