This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Release #14
I left "Little House on the Prairie" on top of the newspaper boxes outside of our local Eat 'n Park this morning before I went inside for a breakfast meeting. This was my first Ziploc bag release--it was pouring down rain, and although the newspaper boxes were underneath an overhang, you never know which way the wind is going to blow. I checked the boxes when I came outside about 90 minutes later and the book was gone :)
