This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Releases #24 & #25
I had to go to Lowe's at lunchtime to get a gift card for my brother-in-law (Shhhh! Don't tell him!) and I thought the Garden Center would be a great place to leave books--tables all over the place, tons of people, and little chance for me to be discovered! My first drop was done outside when I left Colleen McCullough's "Morgan's Run" on a table display of annuals. I went inside to get the gift card and came out through the Garden Center again. They had a really nice display of outdoor furniture and sun shelters (I even tried a couple out) and I decided to leave Fern Michaels' "Vendetta" on one of the coffee tables.
