This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Release #19
Today is a "Release Patricia Cornwell" day. My first release is "Blow Fly," which I left in the Apartment Rental Guide box on the sidewalk on North Main Street in Greensburg, Pa. I'm happy to report that the last book I left there, Robin Cook's "Shock," is gone. I hope some journal entries start coming my way soon.
