This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Release #17
I was in desperate need of gasoline at lunchtime; I often am because I hate to use my discounts from Giant Eagle unless my little orange "GET GAS NOW" light comes on in my car. Since a lot of BookCrossers have had success in leaving books at gas stations, I thought I'd try it myself. I left "Angel," by Barbara Taylor Bradford, on top of pump number 8 at the GetGo gas station at the Giant Eagle in Hempfield Square in Greensburg. I'm hoping someone sees the BookCrossing spine sticker and takes "Angel" home to enjoy.
