RABCK is an acronym for "Random Acts of BookCrossing Kindness." BookCrossers will often offer to mail their books to other BookCrossers who express an interest in receiving them. When I first joined BookCrossing, a member named 4libros asked for some help with an Upward Bound/TRIO project this November. She was asked to supply 100 children's books and 100 books appropriate for teen-aged mothers and she needed the assistance of the BC community. I joined many others in volunteering to help. I was sure I would find appropriate books at the YWCA's book sale that is held in September, and I would send some to her then. Somehow I managed to collect enough books on my own without having to wait for the sale, so I mailed them to her today.
