This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Release #46
My sister, niece, and nephew wanted to go out to dinner tonight, so I had another opportunity to leave a book. I left Lemony Snicket's "The Penultimate Peril" on a chair inside Jioio's Restaurant on Carbon Road in Greensburg while we were waiting for a table. By the time we were done, someone was sitting on the chair and the book was nowhere to be seen.
