This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Release #139
Today was both Presidents' Day and my mother's birthday, and since I didn't have to go to work (*love* those national holidays!) I took my mother to Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh for the Chihuly Gardens & Glass show. I had Sara Gran's "Come Closer" burning a hole in my pocket (well, purse really, and there was no actual smoke) so I left it behind for some lucky gardens, glass, and book lover to find.
