This week's SSM challenge was a salute to independence, so I freed an appropriately themed book at an appropriately themed place. I pinned "Journey to America: Fiona McGilray's Story: Voyage from Ireland in 1849," by Clare Pastore, to the notice board at the entrance of St. Clair Park, named for Arthur St. Clair, a hero in the Revolutionary War, and one of the founding fathers of the United States.
