This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Release #495
I can't believe I was out of bed, showered, dressed, and out the door so early on a Saturday. Since it is the last weekend before Christmas, I really needed to finish my shopping today. But one can't shop without sustenance, so I breakfasted at McDonald's across from Westmoreland Mall. On my way out the door, I left "Three Billy Goats Gruff and Other Read-Aloud Stories," by Carolyn Sherwin Bailey, on a ledge inside the side doors around 10:45 a.m.
