This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Releases #487 & #488
With only 11 days to go before our Christmas Eve festivities, I needed to get seriously started on my shopping today. One of my stops was Big Lots! in the Greengate Centre North plaza and although I didn't buy anything there, I did leave Kenneth Mahood's "The Laughing Dragon" behind on the bench on the sidewalk outside the entrance. My shopping travels also took me to Mount Pleasant; I stopped at Arby's in the Summit Ridge plaza for lunch and left "Pictures of Hollis Woods," by Patricia Reilly Giff, on the window ledge in the vestibule.
