This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Catch #87!
I seem to have a double catch for "The Silence of the Lambs." First, a lovely AnonymousFinder entry from the staff of the Coffee Bean Café and Roastery saying, "Customer picked it up today...Happy Travels!" And second, an entry from the customer and now a new BookCrossing member, mmounts, complete with a photo: " When checking out at the Coffee Bean Cafe in Greensburg, Pa on route 30 near the Westmoreland Mall, the cashier asked if i would like to have the book, because someone left it behind. i looked at it and saw that it was silence of the Lambs which is my favorite crime mystery. So i happily obliged and now I am here writing about it." Happiness all around--I love it!
