This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Release #646
Friends are in from Chicago and Pittsburgh, so we all headed to Sister No. 6's house for a delicious dinner of take-out from Cozumel Mexican Restaurant. Since I live closest to Cozumel, I was elected to bring the food. Since I had the perfect book to leave there, I did. I left Carlos Fuentes' "Old Gringo" leaning up against the railing on the sidewalk. ¡Muy bueno!
