This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Release #630
I treated myself to lunch today at the Coffee Bean Café and Roastery next to Office Max on Route 30 West. They have delicious, but somewhat pricey, sandwiches, comfortable furniture, free wi-fi, and a brick ledge outside the front door that is the perfect size for a book. Never one to turn down a perfect ledge, I left "The Silence of the Lambs," by Thomas Harris, there. The movie creeped me out, so I'm kind of relieved not to have the book in my car anymore!
