This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Release #170
I had a late lunch at Wendy's on Route 119 in South Greensburg today, and took the opportunity to expand my releasing horizons by leaving "First Avenue," by Lowen Clausen, on the brick ledge outside the front door on my way out. I was going to leave it on my way in, but I happened upon the door at the same time someone was coming out and holding the inner door open for me and I didn't want to be too obvious. So the book and I kept each other company over a single with fries and then parted ways as friends who hope to keep in touch.
