This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Release #177
I wasn't planning on leaving a book at Eat 'n Park this morning because I haven't gotten one catch or journal entry from the what seems like dozens of books I have left there, but the lure of the newspaper boxes on the sidewalk was too great. I left Allison Brennan's "Speak No Evil" on top of the boxes around 8:30 a.m., and it was still there when I left around 9:45 a.m. Keeping my fingers crossed that *this* is the one that writes back home.
