This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Catch #39!
I was afraid Dav Pilkey's "Captain Underpants and the Big, Bad Battle of the Bionic Booger Boy, Part 1: The Night of the Nasty Nostril Nuggets" was lost in the lost and found at the Bowl-A-Rena in Jeannette, Pa., but I have never been so glad to be wrong! An Anonymous Finder made a journal entry today: "I didn't really find the book. My neighbor found it in a bowling alley between two bowling balls. She gave it to me because she's 6 and she can't read. I am going to leave it at my dentist appointment in a couple weeks. I enjoyed it alot and I hope the person that finds it will enjoy it as much as I did." Thanks for filling me in on the book's journey, AF, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
