This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Release #313
Still in search of the perfect beach chair, I spent some time at Wal*Mart after work. I didn't find what I was looking for there, so I went next door to Fashion Bug to see if they had any beach-type clothes that weren't horrible. I left Michael Crichton's "A Case of Need" on top of a post on the sidewalk outside of Fashion Bug. The posts are supposed to keep cars from crashing through the stores' front windows, but that might not be a bad idea where FB is concerned. I went home empty-handed. The quest continues.
