This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Catch #61!
Serendipity *was* with us! "The Birth of Venus" has been caught and journalled by new member BERNARD57, who says, "After going through the Museum of American Art in Westmoreland, PA, I found the book at the foot of the statue in front of the museum. At first I thought it was lost but after reading the ribbon on the book, it looked interesting and I wanted to be part of the chain of readers. After I complete my finals, I plan to read the book during my semester break. Thanks!" Thank *you*, BERNARD57, and welcome to BookCrossing!
