This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Releases #466 - #475
Today was the annual Holiday Parade in Downtown Greensburg--a fabulous opportunity to release lots of books. I got a fabulous parking space and was able to release ten books, moving quickly in order to stay warm in the cold weather. The books I released were: "Turkeys, Pilgrims, and Indian Corn: The Story of the Thanksgiving Symbols," by Ursula Arndt and Edna Barth; "F-Freezing ABC," by Posy Simmonds; "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever," by Barbara Robinson; "The Third Option," by Vince Flynn; "The Giver," by Lois Lowry; "Iced," by Carol Higgins Clark; "The Black Ice," by Michael Connelly; "Marisol," by Gary Soto; "Christmas Magic," by Patricia Hermes; and "Chicken Soup for the Soul," by Jack Canfield.
