This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Release #460
I meant to release "Nest of Vipers," by Linda Davies, on my walk down Main Street to the bank, but there were people sitting on every bench I passed. I couldn't leave it in the bank itself because there were no handy ledges or tables, so in the end I left it on one of the ornamental lightposts outside the old Courthouse entrance on Main Street without even breaking my stride.
