This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Release #212
I went to Lowe's after work in search of drill bits since I seem to have neglected to get them when I bought my drill last year. Drill bits were rather difficult to find in Lowe's, believe it or not. I kept getting sidetracked by all the exotic tools whose uses I couldn't even fathom. Once I finally found what I was looking for, I headed for the garden center to find a nice outdoor end table--not one to purchase, but one on which to leave a book. I left "Icy Sparks," by Gwyn Hyman Rubio, on a nice little wrought iron table. Happy travels!
