This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Release #215
It's a good thing I read my e-mail reminder about a dinner meeting this evening or I would have shown up at The Boulevard instead of Pepperwood Grille, where I should have been. Pepperwood is a great place for book releases. There are a couple of benches outside, where I left Perri O'Shaughnessy's "Invasion of Privacy," and the entranceway is lined with benches as well. The bar area has a fireplace and a couple of comfy chairs, and in the summertime, there is al fresco dining on the patio. They have delicious pizza, as well. I hope to have the opportunity to release more books there soon.
