This blog follows my adventures in BookCrossing--the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. It is a fascinating exercise in fate, karma, or whatever you want to call the chain of events that can occur between two or more lives and one piece of literature.

Wild Release #213
I almost didn't leave a book at Eat 'n Park this morning because I haven't had any luck there other than the one book I saw in someone else's hands that was never journalled. As it turns out, I couldn't resist leaving without leaving "On the Far Side of the Mountain," by Jean Craighead George, on top of the newspaper boxes on the sidewalk.
